About MORE Center
Our mission is to provide high-quality, evidence-based treatment services to those who struggle with addiction to opioids. We provide treatment for those who struggle with addiction to drugs like heroin, hydrocodone, oxycodone, and other similar drugs.
We believe recovery from addiction is possible for everyone.
What we do
We treat you with dignity and respect.
We tailor your treatment to meet your individual needs.
We help you access outside services that support your recovery, from finding a mental health provider (if needed), to finding a local support group, and more.
About our treatment
We treat opioid use disorders (addiction) with a combination of psychosocial counseling and medication. Our Medical Director and nursing staff will assist you in finding a safe, stabilizing, daily dose of methadone that allows you to avoid withdrawal symptoms, so you can begin rebuilding your life. We encourage participation in recovery support groups.
Yes, change is possible, and we want to help you break the cycle of addiction.
Who We Are
All of our counseling staff are certified alcohol and drug counselors, specializing in medication assisted treatment. Many of our staff are licensed, as well. We strive to provide you with an excellent counseling staff, and some of the best treatment in the region.
More about methadone, and medication assisted treatment
Methadone has been the gold standard for treatment of opiate addiction for decades. Research showing its effectiveness has been established for over forty years. Women who are pregnant and addicted to opiates, are frequently referred to medication assisted treatment, for improved health of their baby during pregnancy.
Medication assisted treatment has changed a lot over the past several decades. It is common now to be prescribed a lower dose – a dose that’s enough to stabilize, yet avoids the unpleasant side effects of drowsiness that can occur with higher doses.
We know you have questions, so why not call us and learn more about MORE? We’ve been providing quality addiction treatment for almost 30 years. We’re non-profit, and ready to help you get started on your recovery path.
