Sep 30 2015 Councilman Peden to Host 12th Annual McNeely Lake Cleanup

Louisville, KY - Councilman James Peden (District 23) will host the 12th Annual McNeely Lake Cleanup on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The cleanup will start at 9:00 a.m. and will last approximately three hours. Participants will be given gloves and trash bags to collect debris and overgrown plant materials along the lake. There will be live music and a BBQ lunch provided starting at 10:00 a.m. for persons participating in this year’s efforts.

Sep 29 2015 Three Northern Additions of Colonial Gardens to be Removed

In an effort to stabilize the two-story historic portion of Colonial Gardens, located at Kenwood Drive and New Cut Road, the three northern additions of the building must be removed immediately. Recent inspections by the Office of Construction Review determined the additions to be in a state of structural failure with threat of imminent collapse.

Sep 25 2015 PARx Solutions to Expand Louisville Operation

PARx Solutions Inc., which helps connect patients with prescriptions, will add jobs and square footage just two years after opening its Kentucky location, Mayor Greg Fischer and Governor Steve Beshear announced.

The company simplifies the authorization process for prescriptions not initially covered by patients’ insurance plans. Its $2.3 million expansion in Louisville will create more than 75 jobs.
