Councilwoman Flood announces next South Central Regional Forum to deal with Metro Health Services on August 15th
What is the latest on the Hepatitis A outbreak in Metro Louisville? Who makes sure restaurants are clean and prepare food safely? Who controls the mosquito population? Where do I go to learn about lead poisoning prevention? The answers to those and many other questions can be heard at the next South Central Regional Forum which will focus on the work of the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness on Wednesday, August 15th.

Nine New SpeedAlert Radar Devices are unveiled and ready for Deployment in Louisville Metro
Representatives from the Louisville Metro Council’s Minority Caucus as well as the Louisville Metro Police Department participated in an event to demonstrate a new tool that has been purchased to help deter speeding and promote safety. Earlier this year, the nine Republican Members of the Louisville Metro Council pooled their discretionary funds to purchase nine SpeedAlert web-enabled radar message displays.

Representatives from the Louisville Metro Council’s Minority Caucus as well as Louisville Metro Police and Jefferson County Public Schools will participate in an event to demonstrate a new tool that has been purchased to help deter speeding and promote safety. Minority Caucus Meeting Announced for Tuesday, June 26, 2018
Louisville, KY – The Louisville Metro Council’s Minority Caucus will meet at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 prior to the Metro Council’s Final vote on the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget documents. The meeting will take place in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of City Hall (601 W. Jefferson Street).

The Minority Caucus of the Louisville Metro Council will hold its first meeting of 2018 at 4 p.m. at City Hall (601 W. Jefferson Street). During this meeting, members of the Minority Caucus will elect leadership for the 2018 calendar year.
The Metro Council's Minority Caucus meets each Thursday at 4 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Caucus Room at City Hall. Minority Caucus meetings are open to the public.

Metro Council Members to host South Central Regional Community Forum on Wednesday, October 18th
Coming together to discuss important issues and concerns is how any community can produce working solutions to serious problems. That is why Council Members Madonna Flood (D-24), James Peden (R-23), Vicki Aubrey Welch (D-13), and Barbara Shanklin (D-2) invite everyone to attend the first in a series of bi-monthly forums to discuss issues that affect the region.
