The Minority Caucus of the Louisville Metro Council will hold its first meeting of 2018 at 4 p.m. at City Hall (601 W. Jefferson Street). During this meeting, members of the Minority Caucus will elect leadership for the 2018 calendar year. 

The Metro Council's Minority Caucus meets each Thursday at 4 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Caucus Room at City Hall. Minority Caucus meetings are open to the public.

Jan 5 2017 Minority Caucus to hold first meeting of 2017

The nine Republican members of the Louisville Metro Council's Minority Caucus will meet at 4:00 p.m. in the the 2nd Floor Conference Room (Room 202) of City Hall (601 W. Jefferson Street) to hold their first meeting of 2017. The meeting will include the election of a Caucus Chair and Vice-Chair along with discussion related to matters under consideration by the Metro Council.

Louisville, KY – During their first Caucus meeting of 2017, the nine Republican members of the Louisville Metro Council’s Minority Caucus unanimously elected Robin Engel (District 22) to the position of Caucus Chair. The Metro Council’s Minority Caucus also unanimously re-elected Councilwoman Marilyn Parker (District 18) as Caucus Vice-Chair. This will be Councilman Robin Engel's third year holding a leadership role within the caucus. Engel served as Caucus Chair in 2006 and 2007.

In a unanimous vote, the Louisville Metro Council on Thursday night approved $6.2 million in spending for a focused effort to combat violent crime in the city where the homicide rate has climbed to 119 in Metro Louisville for the current year.

Jul 5 2016 Councilmembers Benson, Engel and Peden Participate in Cooper Chapel Road Ribbon Cutting

Louisville, KY- Councilmembers Stuart Benson (District 20), Robin Engel (District 22), and James Peden (District 23) will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Copper Chapel Road Section 1 project on July 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Roundabout – Cooper Chapel Rd. and Chambers Way (9405 Smyrna Pkwy). Following the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, there will be a small reception set up provided by the AM VETS.
