Labor and Economic Development Committee to hold Public Meeting on Minimum Wage for Metro Louisville
The Metro Council’s Labor and Economic Development Committee is offering the public a chance to weigh in on an ordinance that calls for gradually increasing the minimum wage in Metro Louisville to $10.10 by the year 2017. The Minimum Wage Public Meeting is set for Monday, November 10th at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers, City Hall, 601 w. Jefferson Street.

Councilman Dan Johnson invites the community to help the Little Loomhouse celebrate its 75th Anniversary
For three quarters of a century, it has been a unique landmark in South Louisville focusing on promoting textiles and weaving as a creative art. It is a place with a rich history both locally and nationally. Councilman Dan Johnson (D-21) is calling on the community to come out and support of the Little Loomhouse for its 75th Anniversary with the return of the Holiday in the Woods art exhibit and sale beginning on Saturday, November 1st.
