City Hall will now become “Santa’s Workshop South” for the next 10 days as Councilwoman Jessica Green and Councilman Kelly Downard team up encouraging people to donate new, unwrapped toys for the children of women incarcerated at the Pee Wee Valley Correction Center.

On December 5th, Councilman David Yates (D-25) and Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch (D-13) will join a special group of people who will bring holiday cheer to local children in need when they participate in the Eighth Annual “Shop with a Hero” Program hosted by the Valley View Church.

A different concert will be held every other Friday from June through August and the event is open to the public, family friendly, and free.

Aug 5 2015 “Planes: Fire & Rescue” wraps up another successful season for Movies Under the Stars at Iroquois Amphitheater in Partnership with Louisville Fire & Rescue

Dusty Crophopper and his friends return for more adventure as “Planes: Fire and Rescue” winds up another successful season of Free Summer Movies at Iroquois Amphitheater on Saturday, August 8.
In addition to the free movie, Louisville Fire & Rescue will bring an engine to the park so children can interact with fire fighters. There will also be a fire safety message video before the movie begins.
