LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 25, 2017) – Mayor Greg Fischer today announced formation of the Louisville Farmers Market Association, a new group that will work to support local farmers markets, farmers and food producers to create access to a healthy and sustainable food system in Louisville Metro.

Council Members James and Sexton Smith call on Kroger to reverse its decision to close Second Street Store
Flanked by residents and supporters in Old Louisville and surrounding neighborhoods, Council members David James (D-6) and Barbara Sexton Smith (D-4) called upon Kroger Co. to come back to the table and reach a new lease agreement with the property owner to keep the Second Street Store open.
