LMAS seeks person(s) responsible for recent dog shootings
Back in September and October of 2015, Louisville Metro Animal Services made an appeal to the public for any information regarding a series of dogs that had been shot in the 40210 zip code of Louisville, KY. Up until now, the agency has received no tips.

Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, Louisville Metro Animal Services will waive adoption fees on all animals at their adoption center, the Animal House located at 3516 Newburg Road.
Jefferson Count residents will still be required to pay $9 for the license.

LMAS Urgently Needs Foster Homes
This is Molly. She is a 9 year old Schnauzer who had lived a good life in a home until she was surrendered by her owners when they brought home a new puppy. Molly looks out the door every day anxiously waiting for her owners to return.

Recently, Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) took in nearly 80 animals from a local hoarding case. Most of the animals, 66 dogs and 12 cats, were in poor condition and not well socialized.
