Business investments growing, strengthening corridor
More than $50 million in transportation improvements under way and planned over the next two years will create a New Dixie Highway and fuel transformation of a major economic corridor for southwest and west Louisville, Mayor Greg Fischer announced today.

Pedestrian Safety Program Launched
Mayor Greg Fischer today launched a new pedestrian safety program called Look Alive Louisville. The campaign goal is to greatly reduce the number of pedestrian/vehicle collisions and bring to zero the number that result in pedestrian fatalities.

TARC Receiving Grant To Expand ZeroBus Fleet
TARC will add five more all-electric ZeroBus vehicles to the fleet thanks to a $3.3 million grant announced today in Louisville by Federal Transportation Administration officials.

PARC Offers Free Parking for Dec. 3 "Coyote's Acoustic Concert"

Cyclouvia Returns to Bardstown Road
The popular open streets event is coming back to where it all began, on Bardstown Road and Baxter Avenue, from Douglass Boulevard to East Broadway, Mayor Greg Fischer announced.
The next Cyclouvia will close Bardstown and Baxter to vehicular traffic on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with police-assisted crossings at Eastern Parkway and Grinstead Drive.
