City's External Agency Fund Applications Open Jan. 6
Grants available to social services and arts and creative industry organizations
Louisville Metro Government will begin accepting applications for External Agency Fund grants Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 8 a.m. for the service period of FY19 (July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019). These General Fund grants are awarded to non-profit, non-governmental, or "external”, agencies that contribute to the city's cultural, social and economic vitality.

Today Louisville Metro Office of Resilience and Community Services (RCS) launched "Am I Eligible", a new online screening tool for Louisville residents. “Am I Eligible” invites individuals to complete a brief online survey to determine which RCS programs and services are available to them.

Neighborhood Place partners join in holiday celebrations at the Park DuValle Holiday Festival in early December and a Kwanzaa reception later in the month. Free Services Offered to Local Homeless Population Oct. 4
Louisville’s homeless population will have an opportunity to access services, information and assistance in a one-stop environment at the 2017 Project Homeless Connect/VA Stand Down, on Wed., Oct. 4. Resources available at the event will include food, clothing, medical evaluations, help with employment, education and benefit services and many other forms of assistance.

Home heating costs can be a large expense for families in the winter, so Louisville Metro Office of Resilience and Community Services will begin accepting pre-registration heating assistance applications on Monday, October 2, 2017. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides financial assistance to help income eligible residents pay utility bills.
