"March for Meals" Raises Awareness of Hunger, the Elderly

Summer Resource Fair for Youth on March 10
Louisville families with children of all ages are invited to a free resource fair showcasing summer activities for children, youth, and families on Saturday, March 10. Louisville Metro Senior Nutrition Program invites young people to create handmade Valentine's Day cards as part of the annual Love Letters campaign. The cards will then be included in meal deliveries to Meals on Wheels recipients and shared with other senior programs to help lift the spirits of older adults in our community.

City's External Agency Fund Applications Open Jan. 6
Grants available to social services and arts and creative industry organizations
Louisville Metro Government will begin accepting applications for External Agency Fund grants Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 8 a.m. for the service period of FY19 (July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019). These General Fund grants are awarded to non-profit, non-governmental, or "external”, agencies that contribute to the city's cultural, social and economic vitality.
