The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit to Kosmos Cement Company (Portland cement production plant), 15301 Dixie Hwy, in accordance with Regulation 2.03.  The construction project is to install Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) on the kiln. The 30-day public comment period starts September 14, 2017, and ends on October 16, 2017.  A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to revise an operating permit for The Standard Group, LLC (carton packaging manufacturing plant), 2415 Plantside Drive, in accordance with Regulation 2.17. The revised operating permit is for changing the name of the company, incorporating new equipment, and removing Green House Gas limits as they do not apply to this company. Dec 23 2016 LG&E - Mill Creek Generating Station: Proposed Title V Operating Permit O-0127-16-V

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to revise an operating permit for LG&E Mill Creek Generation Station (Electric Energy Generating Facility), 14460 Dixie Highway, in accordance with Regulation 2.16. The 30-day public comment period starts December 24, 2016, and ends on January 25, 2017.  The significant revision is to incorporate (1) Cross State Air Pollution Rule (CSAPR) applicable requirements; (2) add 30-day average SO2 standards to meet the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS); and (3) addition of sulfuric acid emission limits per District toxics regulations.  The three (3) listed items are the only part of the operating that is available for public comment. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.
