There is an Air Quality Alert for Wednesday (9/19) in Louisville and Southern Indiana. Ozone is forecast to be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (seniors, children, people with breathing ailments like asthma and COPD). The general public is not likely to be affected.

Aug 29 2018 Louisville Resilience Launches New Phase and Discovery Area Teams

 Louisville Metro Government’s Office of Resilience and Community Services is inviting the public to participate in a meeting to kick off Phase II of the Louisville Resilience initiative on Monday, Sept. 10.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Louisville Free Public Library’s Main Branch, 301 York Street, and will include the Louisville Resilience team, business leaders, educators, non-profit organizations, members of the faith community, and residents.

Louisville Public Works needs your input! Join us for a public meeting on the design of the Louisville Loop's ORVNE segment from Timber Ridge Road to the Lewis and Clark Bridge. We will have maps and other information about the 100-mile Louisville Loop and ORVNE projects.

Public Works is seeking input prior to designing this path. We will take comments, concerns and questions both at the meeting and afterwards via email. 

Aug 16 2018 UPDATE: Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center to be closed August 18 – September 3 for yearly maintenance

The Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center, 201 Reservoir Road, will be closed from August 18 – September 3 for maintenance and cleaning.

Due to some problems with the filtration system, staff decided to close the center beginning on Saturday, August 18. Mary T. was originally scheduled to be closed at the end of business on Sunday, August 19.
