West Louisville Resource Fair offers job, education and second-chance opportunities for youth, adults
Free job training, summer jobs and help with obtaining a GED or paying for college. Those are some of the opportunities available to youth and adults at the West Louisville Resource Fair, Thursday, Feb. 9, 6-8 p.m. at the Louisville Urban League, 1535 W. Broadway,
Individuals attending the event will be able to sign up for free training and referrals for jobs in construction and manufacturing. Youth and young adults will be able to register for the Mayor’s SummerWorks program and get help in earning their GED and going to college. They can also connect with the REimage program, which provides help to youth and young adults who have been involved in the court system.
Admission and parking are free.
The event is made possible by Brothers Helping Brothers, KentuckianaWorks, the Louisville Urban League and the Louisville Metro Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods.
