Studio 2000 Holiday Art Sale and Exhibit

Studio 2000 Artwork sampleStudio 2000, a student visual art program managed by Louisville Metro Parks & Recreation, hosts its holiday art sale and exhibit on Friday, December 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Douglass Community Center, 2305 Douglass Boulevard. The event is free and open to the public.

Twenty-two students will display and sell original artwork in clay, paint and mixed media, created through their participation in Studio 2000, a competitive, eight-week visual art program based at the Shawnee Arts & Cultural Center. Studio 2000 employs students ages 14-18 years old who learn from and work with professional artists.

All proceeds from the holiday art sale go directly back into the program to support future Studio 2000 sessions. Payment accepted by checks and cash only.
