Speakers encouraged to sign up for another public comment session ahead of special redistricting meeting on Friday
Ad Hoc Committee on Redistricting is scheduled to meet at 4:00 p.m. on November 5
Louisville – The Ad Hoc Committee on Redistricting is holding a special meeting on Friday, November 5, at 4:00 p.m.
The meeting will start with 30 minutes for public comment before committee members discuss the proposed maps and any potential changes.
The 30-minute timeframe is limited to 10 speakers, allowing three minutes for each speaker. Speakers have the option of presenting in-person or virtually via WebEx.
Speakers must sign up online and in advance of the public comment session. Registration will be open on Metro Council’s website through Thursday, November 4, at 4:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Only speakers need to register. You do not need to sign up if you simply plan to attend the meeting.
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers, Historic City Hall, 601 W Jefferson Street. The meeting is open to the public. Face masks are required for everyone entering City Hall.
Under KRS 61.826, some committee members will be video conferencing using WebEx.
If the 10 public comment slots fill up, anyone can still submit a comment online through November 4.
