Reservoir Avenue to be closed beginning Monday, Dec. 6 for Louisville Water project

December 04, 2021

At the request of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Louisville Water will close Reservoir Avenue between Brownsboro Road and Frankfort Avenue to thru traffic starting Monday December 6.

The public can access the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center and the Crescent Hill Reservoir from Frankfort Avenue only. Those who want to use the Crescent Hill Golf Course can do so from Brownsboro Road only.

The official detour for the Frankfort Avenue Main Replacement Project remains Chenoweth Lane to Brownsboro Road.  Reservoir Avenue was originally kept open to local traffic for those who wanted to visit the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center, the Crescent Hill Golf Course, or the Crescent Hill Reservoir.

The public will still have the same access to businesses and restaurants on Frankfort Avenue.
