Proposed Agreed Board Orders with Swift Pork Company and the Medical Center Steam Plant
Notice of Public Hearing
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on October 15, 2014, on proposed Agreed Board Orders with Swift Pork Company and the Medical Center Steam Plant. Swift is alleged to have violated District Regulation 2.17 (Federally Enforceable District Origin Operating Permits) at its facility located on Story Avenue in Jefferson County, Kentucky. The Steam Plant is alleged to have violated District Regulation 2.16 (Title V Operating Permits) at its facility on Abraham Flexner Way in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Rachael Hamilton, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. October 14, 2014. Written comments will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address “airorders @ louisvilleky.gov”. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on October 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville.
