President James invites everyone to come out to the St. James Court Art Show in Old Louisville

Louisville – The 66th Annual St. James Court Art Show begins this Friday, September 30, in Old Louisville. This fall tradition is a juried fine arts and contemporary crafts show, which features 600 artists from around the United States. Historic Old Louisville is also among the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes. 

“The St. James Court Art Show is a classic Old Louisville tradition, and I’m very excited to see how the community responds to the awesome additions it has in store for the community this year,” says Metro Council President David James (D-6).  “I am so honored to help sponsor the 66th St. James Court Art Show in the sixth district’s historic Old Louisville. This annual art show is a jewel for not only our city, but for the state of Kentucky, bringing in over 300,000 visitors who come to enjoy the culture and beautiful architecture of Old Louisville.” 

The Art Show offers a wide variety of booths featuring food vendors, furniture, pottery, jewelry, glassworks, photography, and paintings.  

The event is held rain or shine beginning on Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2.  Friday and Saturday hours are 10 AM – 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free to the art show, but please no pets unless they are a service animal.

  • East side of 6th Street near Magnolia along Central Park from 8:00 AM on Thursday to 10:00 PM on Sunday.  

NOTE:  No Handicap Parking at St. James Court and Fountain Court (across from the fountain on the east side of street)  

Media Parking Areas 

Media parking is available across from the LMPD 4th Division in south lane of Magnolia, beginning at the end of the tents and going westward towards 6th Street. Signs will be posted.
