President James encourages residents to be aware of three important events for the California and Victory Park Neighborhoods
Louisville – President David James (D-6) is encouraging residents of the California and Victory Park Neighborhoods to attend three very important events occurring in January and February as Metro Government reaches the final stages of developing a specific neighborhood plan for the area.
“I want everyone to stay on top of where we are as we move forward with the California and Victory Park Neighborhood Plan,” says the President. “There are three important events coming up that will give the community a chance to be updated on how the plan is being finalized and make their comments on what is being proposed.”
On Monday, January 7th is the next Advisory Group Meeting for the plan. It will be held at the OneWest office located at 2028 West Broadway Suite 104 from 6:30pm until 7:30pm.
On Saturday January 12th, the community is invited to breakfast at the California Community Center, 1600 St. Catherine Street. The event is another chance to review the plan and its recommendations. It begins at 10:00am.
The on Saturday, February 9th there will be a celebration of the completed California and Victory Park Neighborhood Plan. The time and location has yet to be determined.
“I want to thank everyone for their input so far as we get this plan finalized,” says James. “It is important that the community stay involved as we are now in the home stretch.”
