Metro Council Republicans Elect Piagentini and Reed as Minority Caucus Leaders for 2021
Louisville, KY – During their first Caucus meeting of 2020, the seven Republican members of the Louisville Metro Council’s Minority Caucus unanimously elected Councilman Anthony Piagentini (District 19) to the position of Caucus Chair and Councilman Scott Reed (District 16) as Caucus Vice-Chair.
Councilman Piagentini, who was elected to the Metro Council in 2018, will be serving his first year as Minority Caucus leader. Piagentini follows Councilman Kevin Kramer (District 11) who had served as the Caucus chair for five years. Councilman Scott Reed, who was just re-elected to a second term on the Metro Council will be serving his second year as Minority Caucus Vice Chair.
