METCO Board Approves Energy Efficiency Loan

Jakeland, LLC received approval for a Go Green energy efficiency loan in the amount of $201,925 from the Louisville Metropolitan Business Development Corporation. This loan will assist the property owner, Andy Blieden, to install an additional 205 solar panels to the ones he currently has on the Butchertown Market, located at 1201 Story Avenue.

The Go Green Loan is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and creating “green” jobs. These loans can be used for energy-efficiency upgrades, or businesses creating green products or services.
