Louisville Water Launches New Website

July 9, 2015

Louisville Water has partnered with Net Tango to launch a new website that is easy to use for customers and the community.  The new LouisvilleWater.com site officially launched on September 3, 2014 with simple navigation, clean graphics and images, and concise search capability for an overall enhanced website experience. LouisvilleWater.com is fully responsive for mobile phones and tablets.  The website is a primary communication hub for news, events, alerts and more.  The site will serve as the gateway to Louisville Water’s new customer self-service portal, scheduled to launch next year. “Net Tango’s experience of designing and implementing large and complex websites for cities and departments helped us transform our website into a more customer-focused design,” said Kelley Dearing Smith, Louisville Water’s Communications Director.  “The new site is vibrant, easy to navigate and speaks to the quality and innovation at Louisville Water.” Net Tango, a full-service technology firm which creates and delivers web solutions, created the new LouisvilleWater.com website, which incorporates current design trends like larger images, side navigation, and modern typography while making frequently used features like “Pay My Bill” and other customer service options more prominent. Using the most current technology and built on the Drupal content management system, the website also features stories and videos, and provides tools for the staff to issue site-wide alerts and to promote news and events via social media options. “We have been a proud partner of Louisville Metro and the Louisville Water Company for 12 years and are excited to continue our partnership with the launch of the new Louisville Water Company site,” said Christina Durham, Net Tango Vice President & COO. “As part of the comprehensive development process, we focused on making the site more user friendly for customers to easily navigate and efficiently find the information they need, and for the Louisville Water Company staff to manage and maintain.” LouisvilleWater.com is hosted by Louisville Metro Technology Services.
