Louisville celebrates National Night Out with engaging community activities
Louisville (July 27, 2023) – The Louisville Metro Council is gearing up for an exciting and engaging celebration of community unity as it participates in the nationwide event, National Night Out. On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, residents of all ages are invited to come together and strengthen neighborhood bonds through a series of fun-filled activities and initiatives throughout the community.
National Night Out is an annual event that aims to promote positive community relationships and enhance public safety by fostering connections between residents, local law enforcement agencies and other community organizations. Louisville is proud to be a part of this nationwide effort and is excited to showcase its commitment to building a safe and thriving environment for all.
A full list of LMPD Division festivities is listed below. Community members can join in a variety of family-friendly activities around the city. These events offer an opportunity for neighbors to connect, share stories and strengthen their sense of belonging.
National Night Out serves as a reminder that by working together and building strong relationships, communities can create safer environments and improve the quality of life for everyone.
All events are free and open to the public with no pre-registration required.
