LMAS gives away straw donated by The Arrow Fund

February 04, 2021

LMAS is giving away straw donated by The Arrow Fund for pets and domesticated animals that cannot be kept inside when temperatures dip below freezing.  Straw can be used to properly insulate dogs houses that should also have a flap covering the entrance, to protect against wind, rain and snow.

Those who need straw can pick it up Monday-Saturday from 12-6pm at the LMAS Harshaw Family Foundation Shelter, located at 3528 Newburg Road.

If you would like to help, LMAS is accepting donations of new and gently-used dog houses and igloos, which can be dropped of at the LMAS Shelter during normal business hours. For more info, contact us.
