Lineup for 12th Annual FridayFest Summer Concert Series in Highview Park Announced

 Highview Park in Southern Jefferson County will once again play host to Friday Fest. This will mark the 12th year of the popular concert series and is sponsored by Metro Councilmembers Jeff Hudson (District 23), Madonna Flood (District 24) and Dan Seum, Jr. District (District 13).

“FridayFest has become a tradition for many and I’m happy to bring it to Highview Park once again.  From May to August, we have a great lineup!  I invite everyone to attend, and I look forward to seeing you this season at FridayFest at Highview Park.” – Councilman Jeff Hudson, District 23

Different lineups of performance groups will offer a variety of genres throughout the summer. The concerts will be held on select Fridays starting May 31st will run until the final event on August 9th. Each event is free, open to the public and family friendly. It will include children’s activities, food trucks and a variety of food options. People are encouraged to bring a chair, blanket and even a picnic basket as they join friends and neighbors for each of the bi-weekly shows.

June 28 - Radiotronic (Pop/Rock) with Bee Gees Tribute

July 12 - The Sheryl Rouse Band (Pop/Rock/Sout) with Jordan Wilson Coalition (Blue/Funk / Rock’N’Soul)

July 26 - An Evening with the Monarchs (Oldies)

August 9 - Dave Meland Band (Classic Rock) with Jacket Lindsey (Pop/Rock)
