Landbank Authority approves sale of 11 vacant properties

11 vacant properties were approved for sale by the Landbank Authority at its April and May meetings. The proposed sales will enhance the condition of properties and lots in neighborhoods across the city.                      

  • Kentucky Equity LLC was approved to purchase the property at 4242 Vermont Avenue to renovate and to sell to a qualified homebuyer. The property includes a 1,792 square foot home built in 1920.
  • Charles E. Scott was approved to purchase 120 Dr. W J Hodge Street to renovate and to rent to a qualified applicant. The property includes a 1,206 square foot home built in 1900.
  • Christopher Johnson was approved to purchase the 3,000 square foot vacant lot at 1813 Bank Street for use as a side yard.
  • Mirage Properties III, LLC was approved to purchase a 5,635 square foot vacant lot at 3809 River Park Drive for use as a side yard and potential future expansion of its office building. Mirage Properties III, LLC has also been approved to purchase 3415 W. Jefferson Street to renovate and to rent to a qualified applicant. The property includes a 912 square foot home built in 1920.
  • The Housing Partnership Inc. was approved for an option to purchase lots at 2816 S. 6th Street, 702 M Street, 1501 Bicknell Avenue, 3960 Wheeler Avenue and 3962 Wheeler Avenue and will be partnering with Dayspring Community Living to build new homes for developmentally disabled adults. The lots vary in size from 2,750 to 9,743 square feet.
  • Benny R. Sutton was approved to purchase the 2,700 square foot vacant lot located at 1910 Baird Street for use as a side yard.
