Join Councilman Blackwell for coffee, conversation, and a cleanup on Saturday

Louisville (April 18, 2024) – Join Councilman Rick Blackwell (D-12) this Saturday, April 20, 2024, for the monthly “Coffee with your Councilman” and cleanup of Dixie Highway. Stay for one or both events!

This an opportunity for District 12 residents to meet with Councilman Blackwell and enjoy a free cup of coffee and conversation.

The coffee meeting will take place at the Southwest Government Center, located at 7219 Dixie Highway, and will begin at 9:00 a.m.

There is no formal program, so residents can stop by anytime during the event to talk with the Councilman about any issue or concern in District 12 or Southwest Louisville.

Immediately following the meeting, residents can join Councilman Blackwell for a cleanup in partnership with Brightside, Inc. The cleanup will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude at Noon. All supplies will be provided by the District 12 office.

“There’s no better way to celebrate Earth Day then with a community cleanup. Please join me and my staff on Saturday for conversation and to beautify the Dixie Highway area,” said Councilman Blackwell.
