LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 12, 2024) – A paving project is set to take place in the parking lot of the Iroquois Amphitheater next week. The paving project is going to begin Monday, April 15 and conclude on Friday, April 19, if weather conditions don’t result in delays.

The lot will in its entirety will be closed during this time, while the parking lot for the Iroquois Park playground and sprayground will remain open.

“I’m thrilled that the Iroquois parking area will finally be repaved. It’s a long overdue project that will benefit park goers, Amphitheater attendees, Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular guests, and beyond. The District 15 office is excited to fund this project as it shows our serious commitment to our wonderful Olmsted park and our community,” Councilwoman Jennifer Chappell said.

Signage has been posted in the area to inform the public of this closure. Further updates can be found on Louisville Parks and Recreation social media @loukyparks.
