Hogan Lovells signs lease at Paragon Place
Hogan Lovells has signed a 10-year lease to become the largest tenant of Paragon Place at 9100 Shelbyville Road in Louisville, KY.
The firm’s global business services center will occupy the building’s entire third floor, which contains 31,170 square feet and includes numerous conference rooms, two training rooms, and a large break room.
“We are pleased to open our global business services center at Paragon Place in Louisville,” said Chief Operating and Financial Officer Scott Green. “Our new Louisville location and state-of-the-art facilities provides an ideal space to support the firm's global operating strategy. Together with our global business services center in Johannesburg, South Africa, we are positioned to seamlessly conduct business anytime, for any client, no matter where they may be located."
Added Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer:
“Louisville is proud and excited to have been selected by Hogan Lovells for its new global business services center. I am confident that our talented workforce and business-friendly culture will provide the perfect environment for success here.”
Hogan Lovells announced the opening of its second global business services center in February of this year, following a strategic review of how the firm provides business services support. The center is expected to be in full operation by this September and will partner with the firm’s other global business services center in Johannesburg, South Africa to provide comprehensive business support services firmwide. Understanding the complexity of the firm, diversity of locations supported and the firm’s commitment to excellence, innovation and expertise, the two centers will provide continual uninterrupted services.
“We are delighted to have Hogan Lovells as our new anchor tenant at Paragon Place. When completed, Hogan Lovells will have a state-of-the-art workplace environment for the many new employees it will be hiring in our community, and will be the long term beneficiary of significant common area improvements that are just now commencing at Paragon Place,” said Tony Fluhr, Vice President at NTS Development Company. “This is a tremendous win for the City of Louisville and we’re excited to have been selected by Hogan Lovells for their new global business services center.”
In the short time since the announcement Hogan Lovells has discovered how attractive and welcoming Louisville can be to businesses entering the market.
"We have had an incredibly positive response to our arrival in the city. Given our global reach and opportunities for growth, we offer something to employees that is very different to what other law firms in this market can provide and that makes us distinctive and an attractive proposition." said Bill Ball, Managing Director of the business services center.
He continues: "Founded as a cargo and shipping hub and the birthplace of many important innovations, Louisville today is the headquarters to dozens of major organizations across a wide range of industries from healthcare to manufacturing. The city has embraced the addition of Hogan Lovells to Louisville’s impressive roster of innovative companies, and we’re excited to expand our roots in this economically growing region.”
