Hamilton announces next meeting of District 5 Neighborhood Advisory Committee set for Monday, December 15th
Louisville – Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton is inviting residents to the next monthly meeting of the District 5 Neighborhood Advisory Committee on Monday, December 15th.
“We will have some very important updates on economic development, neighborhood revitalization and crime prevention going into the holidays,” says Hamilton.
The December meeting will feature:
- Caroline Heine, Project Director of Seed Capital Kentucky to discuss plans for the West Louisville Food Hub at 30th and W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.
- Laura Grabowski of Develop Louisville will give an update on the Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area “Shine on Shawnee” and “Portland Pride” projects.
- Major Bill Kristofeck of the LMPD 2nd Division will address neighborhood crime concerns.
The Advisory Committee meets at the Yearlings Club, 4309 West Broadway. The meeting begins at 6:00pm. Residents of Portland, Russell, Chickasaw or Shawnee are always invited and encouraged to bring their neighborhood concerns to these monthly meetings.
