District 9 Community Conversation set for Tues., Jan 27
Louisville – Councilman Bill Hollander will hold the first of a series of monthly meetings when he hosts the District 9 Community Conversation on Tuesday, January 27th.
“I said during my campaign that I wanted everyone in District 9 to have a chance to meet and talk about anything going on in the district or the City. So bring your ideas, questions and concerns about issues affecting the community to a conversation with your new Metro Councilman and your neighbors,” says Hollander.
The first Community Conversation is set for the Peterson-Dumesnil House, 301 South Peterson Avenue. The Councilman will host future meetings at different sites across the district so that everyone will have a chance to come and talk.
“At this first meeting, we’ll begin with a brief update on plans and programs at St. Joseph Children’s Home, but the focus of the meeting is citizen input,” says Hollander. “I want these meetings to be unscripted, open conversations about the citizens’ vision for D9 and the City. I hope many people will join us and bring along a friend or neighbor.”
