District 14 is invited to celebrate the grand opening of McAlister’s Deli on Dixie Highway

November 17, 2021

The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18

Louisville – Councilwoman Cindi Fowler (D-14) is inviting the community to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of McAlister’s Deli at 9050 Dixie Highway on Thursday, November 18, at 10:00 a.m.

Councilwoman Fowler says this type of investment in southwest Jefferson County should encourage other businesses to see the potential in the area. Since the restaurant’s soft opening in early November, its sales have outpaced all other area McAlister’s stores.

“I want to thank franchise owners Bill and Lora Robertson and Jim and Debbie Gillenwater for their investment in our area. It will prove to be a community favorite and a catalyst to attract more businesses to the Dixie Highway corridor. Congratulations on this great achievement! I appreciate you all very much,” said Councilwoman Fowler (D-14).

This will be the 11th McAlister’s in the region. The franchise owners will also attend the grand opening.

McAlister’s Deli, founded in 1989, is a fast casual restaurant known for its McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea. Along with dine-in and patio options, this location also offers a pick-up window, tableside ordering, and delivery.
