Councilwoman Welch joins Fairdale Community Club for 11th Annual Trick or Treat Street
Louisville – As a way of ensuring that little ghosts and goblins have a chance to enjoy a safe and fun Halloween, Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch (D-13) and the Fairdale Community Club present the 11th Annual Trick or Treat Street.
“Halloween is such a fun time of year for children and their families and we want to do something that encourages safety while at the same time offers entertainment for this very special, scary season,” says Welch
“Trick or Treat Street will get underway on Thursday, October 23rd from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Fairdale Playtorium, 10616 W. Manslick Rd.
Kids 12 and under can enjoy free refreshments and safe trick or treating inside the Fairdale Playtorium. Costumes are encouraged.
Many businesses and agencies in the Fairdale area will join in on the fun by providing information and special treats for children who come out on October 23rd.
“The Fairdale Community Club is a wonderful partner in organizing this great event for the children of our area,” says Welch. “I also want to thank the businesses and other groups who will be on hand to show they care about our children.”
