Councilwoman McCraney named one of the “2022 Notable Women in Kentucky Politics and Government”
The recognition will be published in The Kentucky Gazette this month
Louisville – Councilwoman Paula McCraney (D-7) has been named one of The Kentucky Gazette’s “2022 Notable Women in Kentucky Politics and Government.”
Members of The Gazette and its social media followers submitted names of women who make things happen in the world of Kentucky public affairs. Councilwoman McCraney was nominated, and her nomination was accepted to be included in The Kentucky Gazette’s special publication in June.
This recognition highlights the councilwoman’s work in local government and her contributions to the Louisville Metro community.
Councilwoman McCraney was honored to be recognized and offered this statement:
“My reaction to the news of this prestigious recognition was one of complete amazement. I am immensely grateful to be selected for this year’s publication and count it as a great privilege and honor.”
The councilwoman is one of 50 women to be recognized this year by The Gazette.
