Councilwoman McCraney invites District 7 residents to join her for the first virtual “Muffins with McCraney”
Louisville – As a way of staying in touch during COVID 19, Councilwoman Paula McCraney invites District 7 residents to join her for a virtual “Muffins with McCraney” this Saturday, May 23.
It is the community’s chance to get caught up on what’s going on at Metro Council and assist their Councilwoman as the city moves forward dealing with the impacts of the virus on the local economy and everyday life.
“‘I know firsthand the importance of social distancing, facemasks, and hand washing in fighting this virus. I also want to make the people of District 7 know I am available to listen to their concerns. For now, this is one way to stay in touch,” says the Councilwoman. “This is staying together - apart - at its finest. Social distancing works!”
On Saturday, May 23 the Councilwoman, with the help of Webex Meetings, will host the virtual “Muffins with McCraney” from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Those who would like to join this event will find the invitation and sign on information in this Friday’s District 7 enewsletter.
“Hopefully, in the not too distant future, we will be able to get together face-to-face and talk over issues and hear updates on what’s going on in the city. It is important for us to continue the practices that keep us safe,” says McCraney. “For now, be patient, get ready to brew a cup of coffee, have a muffin handy this Saturday and from the comfort of your own home, let’s talk.”
