Councilwoman McCraney invites the community to join her for conversation at Café LOUIE

February 17, 2021

Louisville - Councilwoman Paula McCraney (D-7) will take part in the next virtual Café LOUIE this coming Saturday, February 20th. She encourages everyone to go online for a conversation with state and local lawmakers.

“Libraries are a vital neighborhood resource, and it is fitting that the Louisville Free Public Library Foundation, the Library Foundation, and the Leadership Louisville Center would host this event for citizens to come together to address issues affecting our city and state. I applaud them for encouraging community engagement,” says the Councilwoman. “Because of COVID-19 and this week’s weather conditions, constituents can participate from the comfort of home.”

Café LOUIE will get underway at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Councilwoman McCraney will be joined by Councilman Bill Hollander (D-9), Mayor Richard Tonini of St. Matthews, State Representative Tina Bojanowski and State Senator Morgan McGarvey.

Café LOUIE was created to foster conversations between citizens and their elected officials, both state and local. LOUIE stands for Louisvillians: Organized, United, Informed & Engaged.

The event will be carried on Facebook Live! To participate, go to:
