Councilwoman Holton Stewart sponsors District 25 Community Clean-Up and calls for volunteers

March 30, 2021

Louisville – Spring is here, and with the change of seasons, Councilwoman Amy Holton Stewart is putting out a call for volunteers to join her for the District 25 Community Cleanup set for Saturday, April 10th.

“Many people have seen the new Louisville Metro "Clean Collaborative" Crew out and about fighting litter throughout our community. If you are tired of seeing trash in your neighborhood, then I encourage you to join us,” says Holton Stewart. “The best way we can enhance where we call home is to keep it clean and beautiful. Now is the time to get out and roll up your sleeves. We could use your help!”

The Councilwoman is encouraging residents and groups to sign up before the event. To learn more details about the cleanup and register yourself or a group, click here.

Brightside is partnering with District 25 for this Community Cleanup and Councilwoman Holton Stewart will personally deliver cleanup supplies before the event.

To ensure the safety of all who will participate, the cleanup will follow recommended COVID-19 safety guidelines provided by Brightside. To see those guidelines, click here!

“I am looking forward to meeting everyone who wants to join us,” says Holton Stewart. “District 25 is a beautiful place in Metro Louisville, and I know there are many people who take pride in our community and I appreciate their help in making this Community Cleanup a success.”
