Councilwoman Chappell invites the community to the Germantown Oktoberfest

September 27, 2023

Louisville (September 27, 2023) – Join Councilwoman Jennifer Chappell (D-15) on Friday, September 29, for the Germantown Oktoberfest. The festivities will begin at 4:00 p.m. and run until 10:00 p.m. This year’s event features an expanded block party on Goss Avenue from Spratt Street to McHenry Street.

This year’s Oktoberfest is being produced by Greater Germantown Business Association and will feature vendors, food trucks, Twisted Tea Tailgate Party, viewing of the game on a 20’ inflatable screen, Sam Adams Stein Hoisting contest, West Sixth Weiner Dog Races, games, and more.

“Raise your steins, toast to the community, and get ready for a great time! I hope you’ll join in on the fun on Friday during Germantown’s Oktoberfest. Prost to an evening filled with games, lederhosen, and local flavor,” said Councilwoman Chappell.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous event sponsors Four Pegs Beer Lounge, Sarino’s, The Post, Hauck’s Handy Store, and Bahe Cook Cantley & Nefzger PLC.
