Councilwoman Bowens invites the community to attend Parkland Day

Louisville – Councilwoman Angela Bowens (D-1) would like to invite the community to attend Parkland Day, on Saturday, September 24, from 2 – 6 PM. This one-day event will be held on 28th Street between Dumesnil Street and Virginia Avenue.

Come out and support the historical Parkland Neighborhood. The event is produced by the Parkland Business and Development Association and hosted by DJ Walt the Great and 4 Your Kids Entertainment.

“I encourage you to stop by the District 1 booth to say hello to my staff, and discuss any District 1 issues,” says Councilwoman Angela Bowens (D-1). “This event highlights the Parkland neighborhood and is fun for all ages.”
