Councilman Mulvihill announces public meeting to discuss the application for an alcoholic beverage license for 1036 Goss Avenue
Louisville – Councilman Pat Mulvihill (D-10) invites neighbors, community leaders and other concerned citizens to discuss a proposed Alcoholic Beverage License application for 1036 Goss Avenue at a meeting Wednesday, August 9.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the cafeteria at St. Elizabeth Church at 1020 E. Burnett Avenue. The cafeteria entrance is under the awning on the far right of the building.
“There are currently numerous alcohol beverage licenses of various types in the vicinity of this location,” Mulvihill said. “With the improvements underway along Goss Avenue, including beautification and safety measures, there is great potential for a more optimum use of this property for development.”
Concerned citizens who may not be able to attend the meeting may still offer input:
Any person, association, corporation, or body politic may protest the granting of the license(s) by writing the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 1003 Twilight Trail, Frankfort, Ky. 40601-8400, by August 29, 2017.
