Councilman Hollander invites Clifton Heights area residents to important MSD Public Meeting on May 19th
Louisville- Councilman Bill Hollander (D-9) has an important invitation for anyone who lives in the Clifton or Clifton Heights neighborhood to attend a special MSD Public Meeting on Tuesday, May 19th.
“This meeting is the second of four to discuss the Clifton Heights Storage Basin Project,” says Hollander. “It is important that the people in the area learn about the project plans and give their input about the design.”
The meeting is set for the American Printing House for the Blind, 1839 Frankfort Avenue from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
This meeting will provide information concerning the conceptual design of the basin and how it will benefit the area. There will be an opportunity to provide input and comments about the use and look of the area above this covered underground basin.
“Storage basins are an important part of MSD’s actions to stop sewage overflow into Beargrass Creek and the Ohio River,” says Hollander. “The basins will also allow MSD to fulfill its obligations under a consent decree with the federal government.”
If you are unable to attend this meeting, questions and comments pertaining to this plan may also be submitted via email at
