Councilman Baker will host “Jazz in Central Park”

Louisville (August 24, 2023) – Jazz up your Sunday evening with free music in Central Park. Continuing the Metro Council District 6 tradition, Councilman Phillip Baker (D-6) is proud to present “Jazz in Central Park” on Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m.

“I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than sitting in beautiful Central Park listening to soul-stirring jazz music. I hope you and your family come out to enjoy this free family-friendly event,” said Councilman Baker.

Bring your chair and blanket and come ready to enjoy the soulful sounds of jazz artists in Central Park, located at 1340 S. 4th Street.

The evening will be hosted by news anchor, Dawne Gee (WAVE 3) and comedian, Kim Vaughn. This year’s artists include Carley Johnson, Regina Troupe, Patrick Lamb, Frankie Raymore & The Groove Masterz and Jerry Tolson Orchestra.
