Aug 20 2019 Air Pollution Control District Proposed Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to renew a FEDOOP operating permit for Multi Packaging Solutions dba Westrock (printing operation), 1703 South Brook Street, Louisville, KY 40208, in accordance with Regulation 2.17. This is a standard FEDOOP renewal and name change. The 30-day public comment period starts on August 21, 2019, and ends on September 23, 2019. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

President David James (D-6) was on hand for the official opening of a new office on South Fourth Street which will be home to the NOIR Black Business Social Club Inc. On Monday, the nonprofit group announced they will soon transition into a full-fledged African American chamber of commerce.

There will be no residential garbage, recycling or yard waste collection within the Louisville Metro Urban Services District on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2019. All households affected by this change will return to normal collection the following week on Monday, September 9, 2019. All other households should set out garbage, recycling or yard waste on their normal collection day of the week. There will not be a one-day delay.
