Council Members Hollander and Chambers Armstrong to host virtual town hall on upcoming budget priorities
Louisville - Two members of the Louisville Metro Council invite the community to let them know what local government should invest in for the upcoming Fiscal Year budgets.
Council Members Bill Hollander (D-9) and Cassie Chambers Armstrong (D-8) will host a virtual town hall for the public to learn more about the budget process and share their priorities for this year’s budget. The event will feature several panelists to answer questions about how the city currently spends its tax dollars.
“I’m excited to join Councilman Hollander and our distinguished guests to dialogue with our constituents about where we should prioritize our dollars. We’ll be using interactive tools during the forum to engage with our audience and learn more about what the community values.” says Councilwoman Chambers Armstrong.
“Community feedback on our budget is so important, and I am glad we can use this forum as a chance to talk to our community about the budget process and the things they want prioritized,” says Councilman Hollander, who chairs the Metro Council’s Budget Committee.
This virtual event is set for Wednesday, February 24th at 6:00 p.m. via ZOOM. Go to https:// bit.ly/LouBudget to join the meeting or you can watch it on Facebook Live! https://www.facebook.com/events/3695510580529629
