Budget 101: District 21 hosting three informational meetings to talk about FY23 budget
Community meetings scheduled for May 9, May 11, May 17
Louisville – Councilwoman Nicole George (D-21) is hosting three community meetings to share information and answer questions about the proposed FY23 budget.
The in-person meetings are scheduled for May 9, May 11, and May 17. During these meetings, the community will be able to ask questions about the budget process and learn how to participate.
In order to effectively and efficiently cover the massive budget proposal, each meeting will be in a different neighborhood and will have a different focus. If you’re passionate about a certain topic or interested in a specific department, these meetings will teach you how to advocate for that.
- May 9 – Health and Safety
- 6:30 p.m., Beechmont Community Center
- May 11 – Economic Development
- 6:00 p.m., Lynnview City Hall
- May 17 – Infrastructure
- 6:00 p.m., DeSales High School Cafeteria
There will be community partners available at each meeting with expert knowledge in those topics.
