Air Quality Alert for Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 13-14)

There is an Air Quality Alert for PM2.5 for Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 13-14) in Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana.

High pressure and an inversion layer are expected to result in elevated levels of PM2.5 (aka particulate matter).

The Air Quality Index is forecast to be 101 – Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, such as seniors, young children, and people with respiratory ailments like asthma.
