Air Pollution Control District Proposed Permit
Notice of Action on a
Federally Enforceable District Origin Operating Permit (FEDOOP)
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to revise a FEDOOP operating permit for Koroseal Interior Products (commercial wallcovering production), 7929 National Turnpike, Louisville, KY 40214 in accordance with Regulation 2.17. This action revises the permit issued September 3, 2016, to incorporate the conditions of construction permit C-1847-1002-19-F (02-18-2019) which added two new 6-station printer/laminators. This permit also adds new emission limits for the source to meet STAR-exemption requirements. Additionally, this permit removes limits for greenhouse gasses to comply with the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 2014 opinion in Utility Air Regulatory Group v. EPA.
The 30-day public comment period starts on June 27, 2019, and ends on July 28, 2019. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.
Drafts of the permit and summary are available at the District office, 701 West Ormsby Avenue, Suite 303, Louisville between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, by calling Matt King at (502) 574-6000 or emailing airpermits @ louisvilleky.gov or at the following website: http://www.louisvilleky.gov/APCD/docket.
