2nd Annual Light Up Valley Station is Scheduled for Sunday December 10th from 3pm to 7pm

Louisville, KY: Metro Councilman Khalil Batshon (District 25) invites residents of southwest Jefferson County to join him for “Light Up Valley Station” on Sunday, December 10, 2023 between the hours of 3pm and 7pm. The event, which is open to the public will be held at the corner of Dearing and Valley Station Roads. (parking will be available at 10330 Dearing Road, 5350 Valley Station Road and 5301 Valley Station Road).

Persons attending the event will be able to enjoy complementary, hot chocolate, cookies for the kids, face paintings, crafts as well as items that can be purchased through a variety of food truck vendors. The annual lighting of the Valley Station Christmas Tree will occur at approximately 6pm.
During the event, Councilman Batshon will be collecting coats for the annual Chase Gavin Coats for Kids Drive. Coats will be collected at this and other sites in Louisville Metro sand later distributed through Jefferson County's Family Resource and Youth Service Coordinators to children in need of a winter coat.
