“Hotel Transylvania 2” kicks off 2016 Free Summer Movies Season at Iroquois Amphitheater
Louisville – Dracula’s fear that his grandson may be all-human is part of the fun when 2015’s American 3D computer animated fantasy-comedy film “Hotel Transylvania 2” kicks off another year of Free Summer Movies at Iroquois Amphitheater on Saturday, May 14th.
“We are pleased to again bring another season of Free Summer Movies to the Iroquois Park Amphitheater. It is a great community event and a fantastic way to enjoy the summer with family and friends,” says Councilwoman Marianne Butler (D-15).
The sequel to “Hotel Transylvania” takes place seven years later as the Hotel is now open to human guests as well as monsters. Dracula has a grandson who is not showing any vampire tendencies. That scenario is the driving force behind a comical debate.
Hotel Transylvania stars the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Fran Drescher, Molly Shannon and Mel Brooks
“Marianne Butler, along with other Metro Council members make it possible for our “Movies Under the Stars” series to continue giving families free entertainment throughout the summer. We all have hectic schedules and this movie series allows families to relax and reconnect,” says Michael Hallett, manager of the Amphitheater. “Last year was a huge success and we hope to get the word out to citizens so that even more people can share in the fun at these and other great events we have lined up at the Iroquois Amphitheater.”
