“The LEGO Movie” is June’s Free Summer Movie at Iroquois Amphitheater
Louisville – June’s Free Summer Movie, The LEGO Movie, is set for this Saturday, June 13th at Iroquois Amphitheater at 8:00pm.
“The free movies are a great way to have fun with family and friends and Iroquois Park is one of the best places in the area to enjoy a nice June evening,” says Councilwoman Marianne Butler (D-15).
The LEGO Movie tells the story of Emmet, an ordinary Lego minifigure who many believe is destined to save the universe from the tyrannical Lord Business. The film stars the voices of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, Charlie Day, Liam Neeson, and Morgan Freeman.
Joining Butler as sponsors this year are Council members Rick Blackwell (D-12) Vicki Aubrey Welch (D-13), Dan Johnson (D-21) David Yates (D-25), Mary C. Woolridge (D-3), David James (D-6), Cindi Fowler (D- 14), Tom Owen (D-8) and Cheri Bryant Hamilton (D-5), the Citizens of Metro Council District 7, Steve Magre (D-10), Barbara Shanklin (D-2), David Tandy (D-4) and the Citizens of Metro Council District 9.
