Reduce Waste

Located in the Central Business District? Participate in the "Wet-Dry" Recycling Pilot Program, which is the first of its kind in the region and offers organics collection to restaurants. Over the first eight months of the program, diversion rates increased from 11% to 76%.

Reduce your Energy Consumption

Complete an Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC). Louisville Metro's first ESPC saved more than $750,000 in its first year. Louisville Metro launched a new ESPC in 2013 that will result in $27 million in energy-saving improvements.

Through the LG&E Commercial Rebate Program, commercial customers can earn cash rebates up to $50,000 per facility per year for making energy-saving improvements to their facilities.
